Summer is here! Isn’t it fabulous?!
I love summer, not only because June is a big birthday month in my family (mine included!) but because I am a sun-worshiper.
As I sat down to write to you today, several things were on my mind. I always make it a point to check in with the spirit to see how I can be of most service to you. What can I share that’s of most use to you???
What came up today is love.
What does love have to do with building your business in a feminine way? When you are in business for yourself, the sky is the limit in theory in terms of what you can achieve.
The reality often is that our fears are the limit of what we can create, or to say it better, allow into our experience.
If you have been following me for a while, you know that I look at business-building the same way as I look at intimate relationships. Both are a spiritual journey, and if we take them
on as such, they help us expand and grow.
Much of what I teach is still based on the principles of my very first offering, which was the Blossom journey, a journey to heal childhood sexual abuse and create your dream life.
One of the key principles I teach in Blossom is this:
The key to allowing your “dream” life to manifest is an open heart.
In other words, the key to having everything you want is mastering the ability to keep your heart open.
So what does this have to do with building your business in a feminine way?
Energy. Everything is energy. Everything you desire is already here in energetic form. It wouldn’t be a desire of yours if this wasn’t so.
You are in control of your energy. You are either allowing energy to flow freely to and through you, or you are pinching it off. Energy creates connection. If you are in flow with energy, you connect to people much differently then when you are not.
People feel attracted to you and want to work with you if your energy is in flow. When energy is flowing freely through you, we experience the feeling of love. Free-flowing energy, energy that is all accepting and fearless, feels like love. It makes people feel safe.
Another reason why keeping your heart open is so crucial in business is that your intuition speaks to you through your heart. You can’t follow it when you are cut off or shut down. With an open heart, building your business becomes easy. When your heart is open, you know you are love, loved, and supported.
Here are some favorite ways we cut ourselves off from this good feeling flow of energy.

We react to other people, believing that we did something wrong, or that it was our fault, or that we are responsible for other people being upset

We don’t take care of our physical, emotional, and energetic space. In other words, we have muddled boundaries.

We beat ourselves up
Living with an open heart so you can feel love and great feeling, easy, flowing energy over longer and longer periods of time is, in my opinion, a life-long journey. My intention with this article is to invite you to make eliminating the above mentioned behavior patterns a priority in your business building activity.
I know this is different from what a traditional business coach would teach you, but first, I am not a traditional business coach, and second, we are creating a new paradigm on earth (not just in business,) one in which the feminine is honored and brought back into balance with the masculine.
To help you do this on a practical level, lets set up some masculine structures for you to work with.

In order to not buy into the belief that you did anything wrong, or that it is your fault when people get upset, take on the mindset that when people get upset, they are the ones struggling with themselves. Make a pact with yourself that from now on, when people blame you, shift the attention off yourself and onto wondering what is going on with them.

In order to take care of your physical, emotional, and energetic needs, create a calendar that reflects those needs and commit to sticking to it.

In order to not beat yourself up any more, simply stop it. No matter how justified it seems, simply stop it.
